John Bennett

John Bennett is a well known Canadian environmental activist and commentator known for his work on climate change with Greenpeace, the Climate Action Network, Sierra Club of Canada, and Friends of the Earth. In the 1970s he launched Greenpeace’s nuclear power campaign by leading a trio of activists who canoed into the Bruce Nuclear Power Plant. He also served as Communication Director for the Green Party Canada.
