A Czech Model May Have Been More than Trump Bargained for

Donald Trump’s first wife Ivana was a runway model and an accomplished skier. But, according to this part of the Trump documentary, that didn’t sound good enough to the mogul and his PR machine and she was made out to be a former Olympic skier and a “top fashion model.”

Still, there was more to the Czech national than met the eye. Over the years, she became an influential businesswoman and competed with her husband for the spotlight of New York’s social scene before she was traded in for a younger model.

The following video is part of a documentary on Trump that was made a quarter century ago but never released.

The film has a gritty tabloid quality — and is, by definition, a period piece. While some “chapters” will be more explosive or longer than others, what the documentary reveals about Trump’s character and manner of operating is more relevant than ever. We dare you to watch this and say that, like Trump, you already “knew it all.”

From now until the first votes are cast in Iowa, we will stream “chapters” of it here.
