Trump's "Truths" reveal he is genuinely worried as he waits for jury deliberations to conclude.

It is said that the eyes are the window to a person’s soul. Well, Truth Social is a window to Donald Trump’s head… and today he is in panic mode.

In the hour since a jury began its deliberations over whether Trump is guilty of falsifying documents to cover up the hush money payment he made to former adult film actress Stormy Daniels to keep her from revealing their affair, the former president “truthed” 24 times.

If you are familiar with Trump’s “truthing,” you will know that most of the posts were pretty, i.e., quotes of supporters of the former president who said what he wanted to hear.

However, there were also some real gems, like this one: “Mother Teresa could not beat these charges. These charges are rigged. The whole thing is rigged!”

Of course, if you are familiar with Mother Teresa’s life story, you will know that she never paid off a porn star to boost her chances to win a presidential election.

What these posts show is that Trump is genuinely worried. After all, he is facing something he has likely never been confronted with to this degree in his entire life: accountability.

All his ranting and raving about how unfair this and how the judge is mean to him and his daughter is a Democrat, delaying tactics meant to drag out the four trials until after the election (because, obviously, that’s what innocent people do… they try to postpone their trials for as long as possible), all of the motions to dismiss the case, and the parade of his allies to New York City to bend the knee have been for naught.

In the end, the jury got the case, i.e., the criminal justice system worked as intended.

Of course, like any malignant narcissist, Trump thinks he is special and therefore deserves special treatment. In a way, he did, because no former president has ever been indicted… and none has ever been at the mercy of a jury.

Trump should consider himself lucky that he is in this position. There is a pretty decent chance that at least one juror won’t vote to convict — either because they are a MAGA disciple or genuinely believe he is innocent.

Conversely, it also stands to reason that he will become the first former president whom at least some jurors found guilty of a crime — either because they were swayed by the evidence, or they believe Trump is a crook who has been getting away with crimes for too long.

Both would result in a hung jury, which seems the most likely result.

If that is the outcome, the former president can claim victory and “total vindication,” which it won’t be.

However, if the jury does come back with a guilty verdict, expect a “Truth” storm the likes of which the world has never seen.
