The president of Russia knows how to lure into his net MAGA Republicans who share his professed hatred for the LGBTQIA+ community and his performative adaptation of Russian Orthodox Church views.

The MAGA Republicans in Congress are starving Ukraine of the ammunition and military hardware they need to defend themselves. They are parroting Vladimir Putin’s anti-Ukraine talking points while claiming to be anti-war and pro-American. Whatever Putin has invested to reap this admiration has worked. Putin and Donald Trump have the total fealty of the MAGA GOP leadership. The actions of the Republican House are in service to both of them.

Here, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) calls on House Republicans to “break with pro-Putin MAGA extremists” to pass the aid Ukraine desperately needs.
