On Friday, Judge Arthur Engoron raised the possibility of putting the former president in jail after Donald Trump failed to comply with a partial gag order pertaining to his civil fraud trial in New York.

Judge Tanya Chutkan has also placed Trump under a narrow gag order concerning his DC coup case.

Engoron had ordered Trump to remove a Truth Social post concerning the judge’s law clerk, but as of Thursday night the post was still available online.

“This is a blatant violation of the gag order,” Engoron said. “I made it clear failure to comply will result in serious sanctions.”

According to Trump’s attorney Christopher Kise, the post in question was removed from Truth Social but not from Trump’s website.

“It is unfortunate and I apologize on behalf of my client, ” Kise said.
