On this weekend when we remember the 9/11 attack on the US, it’s worth remembering that President George W. Bush was allegedly warned about the attack in a presidential daily brief. Bush defenders claim the warnings were of a general nature and were not glaring red flags.
This week we also learned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was allegedly warned by United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan about the coming October 7, 2023, attack.
Whether these men knew of imminent attacks and, rather than preventing them, used them as an excuse to go to war we may never know for sure. Still, Bush and Netanyahu have the blood of thousands upon thousands of innocent humans on their hands. This we should never forget.
