A Trump Treasury of Tweets

While Franklin D. Roosevelt had his radio fireside chats and John F. Kennedy the TV camera, newly inaugurated President Donald Trump has chosen Twitter as his favorite means of communicating with the world. Here, with no filter, he lets us know his thoughts and feelings about politics, news, and just about anything else.

Of course, getting across detailed policy plans and a political philosophy in 140 characters or less can be tough. Yet Trump has effectively used his Tweets to make clear exactly where he stands. WhoWhatWhy has compiled a collection of things the new president tweeted since winning the election to highlight how he has used the medium. If you have a favorite Trump tweet, feel free to leave it in the comment section below.

I may be completely off the mark, but is there some significance to the background behind Trump? I am no expert on this, but the background reminds me very much of Mosques, Islamic art. Can anyone who knows more than I do shed some light on this?
