2024 was a year of change for the worse in America. We did our best to focus attention on the most outrageous offences of the Republicans in their quest to undermine the foundations of our post-Civil War democracy. They seem intent on bringing back all of their favorite methods of oppressing citizens including voter suppression, anti-women’s health care legislation, ending birthright citizenship, ending no-fault divorce, undermining the indepence of institutions such as universities, the news media, and more. They have already worked to delegitimize evangelical churches by turning them into arms of the Republican party that no longer profess the teachings of Jesus.
Unfortunately, the new year is bringing no relief to the right’s assault on American values. We will continue to chronicle the atrocities in the coming year.

Third Party Candidates Ring in the New Year
We started off 2024 stating the obvious. Third-party presidential candidates don’t produce any meaningful results for their supporters. Until a group of Americans builds a party from the ground up, they will not have an impact on governing outcomes. Read more.
