President Donald Trump has been criticized for his actions and statements about how to resolve the brutal war in Ukraine. He has repeatedly undermined Ukraine and its leader, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while showing servile support for Russian President Vladimir Putin. This manifested in, among other shocking displays, the United States voting against a United Nations resolution condemning Russia for the war.  

The rift between the US and Europe has grown, with French President Emmanuel Macron publicly and pointedly correcting Trump’s false claims about aid to Ukraine. Additionally, there is growing dissent within the Republican Party, with figures like Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) openly criticizing Trump’s stance on the conflict and his refusal to acknowledge Russia as the aggressor.

The entire Western world is shocked by Trump’s siding with a murderous dictator against the brave and determined people of Ukraine.
