President Donald J. Trump likes to pick his staff by grazing the online talent on his favorite cable channels. In his second term he has hired over 20 former cable news personalities, contributors, and media figures.
His latest pick was Katie Zacharia for White House press secretary.
She gave a sub-poor performance in her debut press briefing and then it turns out she’d been lying about being a lawyer for years. Zacharia lasted four-and-a-half days.
Now we will see whether Trump continues his pattern of hiring press secretaries that are young blonde women who resemble his daughter, if you squint a bit.
