Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) and his communications team have struck a chord on social media with their mocking of President Donald Trump’s compulsive and often repulsive posts. They have been at it for some time, but their efforts have just now hit a critical mass of attention.

Not only do these posts from the Governor Newsom Press Office account make many people laugh, but they also are causing right-wing cable hosts and podcasters to lose their minds. Here are two quotes from Fox commentator Dana Perino: “You have to stop it with the Twitter thing”; “You are making a fool of yourself, stop it.” It is great fun to watch them squirm as they play their part in Newsom’s orchestrated attacks.

Here Perino scolds Newsom:

Below are a few samples of posts from the Governor Newsom Press Office account. These are in the all-caps style Trump is known for. There are many posts using AI to show Newsom in various scenes that will trigger the Cons, but you can scroll through them at your leisure over at Elon’s domain.
