If a fading Donald Trump makes it to the White House, it’s only a matter of time until Peter Thiel’s Manchurian candidate, JD Vance, becomes president of the United States.

Peter Thiel is JD Vance’s main patron. He gave him jobs, wealth, and a seat in the US Senate. Now he wants him to be Vice President and ultimately President of the United States.

There are many paths JD Vance could take to the presidency if the Republican ticket wins on November 5th. Who knows if Donald Trump really wants to serve another complete term? We know he wants to stay out of jail, be lionized by the MAGA hordes, and make a lot of money. Perhaps Trump plans to get elected, be a dictator on day one, and then catch COVID or something and have to retire. That could take one day or a couple of years. Who knows?

Another option is for the president’s cabinet, which may include Elon Musk, to invoke the 25th Amendment. There are a lot of still darker outcomes, but let’s not go into that.

One way or another, electing Trump is a vote for a totally Supreme Court-blessed, super-charged-with-immunity President JD Vance.
