Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has a problem using secure government systems to communicate. Instead, he appears to be using Signal, a private app that your teenager could download on their smartphone. There have also been reports of administration members using Gmail to hide conversations. All of this activity seems to be taken to avoid keeping records that could be used to hold them accountable for their misdeeds.
In the video below Hegseth gives a Trumpian defense for his actions, blaming the controversy on deep state leakers, media hoaxsters, whatever. I just don’t think people are buying it.
Here’s Pink News Lady Karoline Leavitt gaslighting America about the same topic. She gets into Hegseth’s defense right away so you don’t have to watch the entire press conference.
