Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker asked DHS Secretary Kristi Noem to refrain from sending troops into Chicago neighborhoods during this Halloween weekend. But ICE Barbie was eager to assure everyone that ICE will definitely not be considerate of the desires of local residents to have a fun invader-free holiday.
Noem and Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino are keen to record scenes of desperate immigrants screaming for their lives while their families watch in horror. It doesn’t matter if the people being kidnapped are US citizens or immigrants playing by the rules of the system.
These recordings feed the Department’s insatiable need for content to catapult the propaganda (to quote George W. Bush). Their goal is to discourage new immigrants from coming and also to encourage immigrants currently living in the US to self-deport.
Even spookier, the operations are quite possibly dress rehearsals for efforts to suppress the vote in coming elections.
Despite pleas from Gov. JB Pritzker to pause federal immigration enforcement operations while children celebrate Halloween, teams of Border Patrol agents — including one led by Cmdr. Greg Bovino — tore through Chicago’s Northwest Side and nearby suburbs.www.chicagotribune.com/2025/10/31/c…
