  1. I find it completely insulting and the kind of knee jerk reaction that is as bad as that kind of reaction on the right, to compare Bill Gates to Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. Bill and his wife have done tons to help eradicate disease across the world. Is he perfect? No. Where some of his education ideas off base? Yes. Believe it or not, when you become insanely rich, you do not automatically know all the answers to life’s problems. The difference in Bill Gates and Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos is that they have done nothing to help the world. Everything Elon Musk has done with transportation to building rockets to go to Mars or wherever is about promoting his brand. Don’t even get my started on Bezos. It’s not cool, or ultra hip to demonize all wealthy people, just as it’s not cool or hip demonize ANY group.

Is it possible that they are paying their fair share of taxes? Define Fair. Define Fair from who’s view point.
Or do we need to do a simple flat tax without deductions for anyone? (Won’t the accountants and tax preparers scream “unfair job loss”?
