    Kurt Vonnegut: “Say what you will about the sweet miracle of unquestioning faith, I consider the capacity for it to be terrifying and absolutely vile.”

    Vonnegut captured during the battle of the bulge by the Germans was force to work in a slaughter house and some how survived allied bombing.

    I suspect Mr. Vonnegut became very very well versed in all things vile.

    Oh, please! Susan Collins is a hopeless, shameless embarrassment. She has either forgotten or never knew the history of Maine’s Margaret Chase Smith, the first Senator to speak out against the abuses of horrible Joseph McCarthy in the early 1950s. It took another four years for her colleagues to figure out she was right.
