Jill Stein Wins the Recount

The first vote in Wisconsin hasn’t been counted yet, but the winner of the recount is already clear: Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein.

There is hardly a scenario in which she doesn’t emerge victorious:

–          If the recount is conducted and Donald Trump wins, which remains the most likely outcome, then Stein is the one who responded to the plea of desperate progressives and launched a last-ditch effort to stop Trump.

–          If Clinton prevails, then she is a hero to the left regardless.

–          If the three recounts that Stein is targeting – Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania – all do not take place, or if they cost less than anticipated, then the funds raised in the past week will be a massive boon to the Green Party. In the six days since she announced that she was seeking donations for a recount, Stein has raised more than twice the amount that her party had raised from January 1, 2015, to mid-October of this year. And even if the entire amount were spent, the Green Party would now have a new email list with the names of more than 100,000 potential donors.

Really the only way Stein could turn this recount into a loss is if she ends up not paying for any of the recounts – and proves Donald Trump, who called her effort a “scam,” correct. And even then, her party would still be flush in cash.

Why all of this hype and hoopla over a rigged up popularity contest?? Shitlery “lost” the selection of who would be the next POTUS because she’s a raving lunatic alcoholic who can’t be trusted to do the bidding of her Wall Street masters!! Those boys over there are all about making phony profits and fortunes via bogus electronic bookkeeping entries that are created out of thin air. A nuclear war like Shitlery would like to start, would wipe all of those plans right out! Small wars with conventional weapons that can be managed without too much trouble for many years are a great way to generate wealth for the banksters, but anything beyond that knocks ALL of the playing pieces off the board, and they just can’t have that. So they put in a guy who is a bit of a boor and a doofus in one package, and he can be counted on to keep the games going for a bit longer. But eventually, ALL financial scams come to an end one day, and the USD as the dominant fiat paper currency in the world will share that same fate too, and very soon I might add! Just look to Venezuela for a snap shot of what the movie called your future will be like in the coming year.

This is one of the worst pieces of commentary I’ve read on this site. Stein has lost all credibility by aligning herself with Clinton. Many in the Green Party agree.

Jill Stein and Hillary Clinton have been BFF for many, many years. If people did their due dilligence they would know this.

Klaus, I’m a little surprised about your take on this. I’m a Jill Stein supporter — voted for her in 2012 and 2016. But I find a few circumstances around the recount troubling. The rapid fundraising without any real promotions and the steady stream of cash since first announced is a red flag for many people, myself included. Yes Klaus, she raised more in 3 days than she did for her entire presidential campaign. Even the surge after Bernie dropped out pales in comparison. I can’t buy it at face value.

Jill also says it’s only about validating the vote count in tight states. What about New Hampshire? The margin there was four tenths of one percent. If it’s only about fair voting, how did she skip NH, a state with a close vote count and one of the last to provide a final tally? Even you wrote a story in February titled, “Can we trust the New Hampshire vote count?” Why are you and Jill trusting it all of a sudden?

The recount smells fishy — like a distraction or smokescreen. I think WhoWhatWhy can skip the commentary and dig into the WHO started it, WHAT the intent was, and the real motive behind WHY. The data shows it’s not simply a recount in states that were razor close.

First of all, why should she bother with New Hampshire? How many electoral votes are at stake there? What many people seem to be objecting to is that she seems to be trying to get Trump unelected. What’s the matter with that? The election was stolen and if the recounts had proceeded, Hillary would have been the winner. Would you rather have a fraudulent Trump presidency than a legitimate Hillary presidency? I don’t get the logic of that. I was a Bernie supporter and voted for Stein BTW, so don’t accuse me of being a Hillary troll.

Unfortunately, the united frenzy against Stein and the recount invalidates one of the points of the article – that she will emerge a “winner” in any case. She’s being cursed by many former supporters and liberals; another case of the left being played for a patsy by the right. “When will they ever learn?” –Pete Seeger
